History but not History

This is one World Series I want to be a part of.

As a quick post, I ran across an interesting blog entitled DMB Historic World Series Replay by Kevin Graham (over on the right as well). It's an interesting idea. He's taking every season, starting in the 1876 season, and replaying them through statistical simulations. When he gets back up to the start of the modern World Series (it wasn't actually the first, but it's the first going with the modern definition) in 1903, he'll start simulating the World Series using the actual World Series teams. Along the way, he gives some nice bios of players that aren't brought up much if at all, like this one of Tommy Bond. Kevin's site is a cool mixture of history and imagination. Then again, real history is a mixture of history and imagination, isn't it?
